Matt is a Financial Planner at David S. Reinders, Inc. He works with clients to provide comprehensive financial planning from a biblical stewardship perspective. As a fee-only firm, he receives no commission and there is no incentive to sell insurance or investments. He has been with the company since 2020.
Matt has been involved in financial stewardship since he and his wife, Dana, took their first Crown Ministries class on biblical stewardship in 1996, a life changing event. This experience began the development of Matt’s desire to lead people in the area of Financial Stewardship. Since that first class, Matt and Dana have led numerous Financial Stewardship bible studies at Havenhouse Church in Newhall, California.
He and Dana have been married for 30 years and have two daughters. They have attended Havenhouse since 1995. He formerly served as: a member of the Church Council; as the Nursery coordinator; and facilitator for the church’s Security Team. Matt has also organized numerous housebuilding mission trips for the church.
Matt has worked as a leader in business and church administration for over 35 years. His career has ranged from 11 years at Six Flags Magic Mountain to 24 years in the healthcare industry, to serving 2½ years as the Administrator of Havenhouse. Throughout Matt’s career, he has been heavily involved in budget development, management and improving operations through data analysis.
